ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST SIGN A VOLUNTEER WAIVER FORM
The Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce has created "Volunteer Groups" to help out with Le Tour de Mont Pleasant. Please check out these groups below and contact Miranda Walker at mwalker@mt-pleasant.net or (989) 772-2396 with your name, e-mail, cell phone number, your T-shirt size, and the group/shift in which you would like to volunteer. You may volunteer for one or more shifts depending on your availablity. ***Road Marshals make up the largest volunteer group for Le Tour de Mont Pleasant as hundreds of volunteers are needed!

SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER GROUP:
ROAD MARSHALS:
Road Marshals are responsible for the safety of the riders, pedestrians, motorists, caravan, and race fans along the race routes. Marshals are also responsible for directing the riders in a safe and uniform way, (especially at corners and intersections) as instructed in their training. (There is actually a way to point or wave the riders to turn or go straight.) **Road Marshals usually work in pairs or teams. We encourage volunteering with friends and family members.
All Road Marshals are required to attend ONE of the following trainings:
Thursday, June 2nd: 6:30-7:30 at CMU's Finch Field House
Tuesday, June 7th: 6:30-7:30 p.m. at CMU's Finch Field House
Volunteer shifts:
Friday (CMU Campus): 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday (Downtown): 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday (Isabella County): 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

MOTORCADE:
Drive a lead or follow vehicle/motorcyle in the Road Race through Isabella County on Sunday, June 12th.
All Motorcade Volunteers are required to attend the following training:
Tuesday, June 7th: 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at CMU's Finch Field House
Volunteer shifts:
Sunday (58 Mile Road Race): 8:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Sunday (128 Mile Road Race): 8:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

COURSE SET-UP
Help set up/take down barricades, straw bales, and mesh fencing on the streets througout Downtown, Mt. Pleasant
Volunteer shifts:
Friday (Downtown): 2:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday (Downtown): 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
